Negatively Curved Crystals
Harvard Installation
A display of prints in the Harvard Science Center Atrium, running April 2019 to the June 2020.
Entitled "Negatively Curved Crystals", the 9 large black and white prints all consist of patterns
of thousands of circles, variously compared to x-ray crystallographs, maps of coastlines, patterns for rugs
and class rings. These images, which emerged from ongoing research, explore the interface between science, art and design.
This display was the first iteration of the project "Illustrating Infinity", which has run
continuously since 2019 and continues to evolve.
