This website is about recipes and foods that I love. Some of the food I love because it tastes real good, or even extra real good. Some of the food I love more like a person loves a really trashy novel or the TV show Fantasy Island.My Great Aunt Agnes was in charge of the food at the Dauphine Island club in Mobile County, Alabama, in the 1950s. Some of the recipes come from an old box of yellowing recipes that I got from Aunt Agnes by way of my grandmother. Many of these recipes have "Real Good" written at the top, and one even claims to be "Extra Real Good." Other recipes are favorites of my wife and I. Still other recipes come from old cookbooks, especially the junior league and other "spiral bound" cookbooks that I love.
